Open data

Truvi's food guides use product data from Open Food Facts, which is published under the Open Database License (ODbL), and from U.S. Department of Agriculture FoodData Central, which is public domain.

Where we corrected Open Food Facts records, for example with the manufacturer's label data from FoodData Central, the corrected records are available here under the same licence. The file covers every product shown in our 2 food guides, including the alternatives they suggest.

Product photos on the guides are by Open Food Facts contributors under CC BY-SA 3.0 and are credited on each page. The Truvi score and the written guides are Truvi's own work and are not part of this database.
